1997 Fender Telecaster! Made in the USA. Part of the 'California Series'. Fiesta Red finish. Maple neck and board. Black guard with Strat singlecoil in the neck (Original White guard included).

The California Series Telecaster model also features vintage hardware such as Kluson-style tuners and a vintage bridge with six individual steel saddles. Medium jumbo frets make string bending and playability by far easier in contrast to the usual thin vintage frets. All Telecaster bodies of this particular series were routed for a humbucker pickup in the neck position pickup but this includes the Strat single coil unmodified from original model.

I have had a great opportunity to play a plethora of electric guitars from as far back as the 50's I have always had a certain curiosity between certain models of guitar and the associated genre with which they were played. For example, it is because of the stylistic nuances of the jazzmaster that Nels Cline was able to paint such a jovial and melodic picture in the "Impossible Germany" solo, but it was also because of the suspended strings behind the bridge that Thurston Moore was able to conjure such dissonant noisey aggression during his time in Sonic Youth . The Fender Stratocaster? From Hendrix all the way to Holly. Gibson Les Paul? Larry Carlton to Eddie Van Halen. My collection of guitars changes just as rapidly as my taste in music and I am on a quest to find a few trusted allies.
